Does image size really matter?
It is important to make a good first impression and to maintain a professional looking brand at all times. Images play a vital role in attracting people to your content, especially if you are planning to make money from paid media.
Unfortunately, one image is not good enough for use on all the different social media platforms, as they each have specific size requirements. Most social platforms do a good job of resizing images to fit their layout, but for optimised images, it is best to resize them yourself.
Is it time-consuming? Yes. Will it be worth doing? YES!
I could not have done a better job than Jamie Spencer for makeawebsitehub.com to clarify this and make it easier to do. He created clear, informative infographics PLUS free downloadable Photoshop templates for correct images sizes – no sign up required. (Please click the link above or the image below)

To help streamline your re-sizing process, Bryant Tutterow wrote a very helpful article for GoDaddy.com on this process. They also put together examples of every image size noted in their guide across every network in PSD, AI and PDF format in a single .zip file to help speed you on your way.
I hope you find this helpful and good luck on re-sizing those images!
